The BuyGold Integrity Standard

Version 1.0. These are the rules we build to. They are not aspirations.

Published September 13, 2026. Last verified September 13, 2026.

Every one of these is checkable by you. As our build system grows, more of them are also enforced automatically before a page can ship.

1. We take no money from the companies we cover. No commissions, no affiliate links, no advertising, no paid placement, no sponsored content, no guest posts. There is nothing to buy on this site and no link on it earns us anything.

2. We tell you who owns us. BuyGold is owned and operated by Crecera Unlimited Ltd, a marketing company whose clients include OWNx, one of the companies reviewed here. We say so on our disclosure page, and we say so again on any page where OWNx ranks first. We would rather you learn it from us.

3. One method, published, applied to everyone. Our scoring rubric and its weights are published in full and applied identically to every company, including OWNx.

4. We show the working. Every ranking shows each company’s score on all nine criteria, with a source for each one. If we cannot source a criterion, we mark it unscored rather than guess.

5. Every number has a source and a date. Fees, minimums, ratings, and terms all trace to a dated link, listed at the foot of the page. We never state a company’s markup, spread, or premium without a published source for it.

6. We never invent a person. Every article is written by a real, named person with real credentials and a real profile you can check. We do not use pen names, stock-photo personas, or made-up credentials.

7. We publish the losses. Every company’s weaknesses run alongside its strengths, above the fold, naming the competitor that beats it. That includes the companies we rate highest.

8. Same data for everyone. Whatever trust information we show for one company, we show for all of them, including the unflattering parts, and including for companies we have a connection to. If we will not publish a category of data about everyone, we publish it about nobody.

9. We date everything and we do not fake it. Every page shows when it was published and when a person last re-checked its facts. We never move a “last verified” date without actually re-verifying. When a page is overdue for review, we say so on the page.

10. We name competitors in plain text. No competitor logos, no competitor branding, no screenshots of their sites. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any company we review.

11. We correct in public. Corrections are published on our corrections page with what was wrong, what it says now, and how we found out. We do not silently edit facts. Tell us we are wrong and we will answer within five business days.

12. We say what we do not know. Every page states what it covers and what it does not, and whether our assessment comes from using a service or from reading its published terms. Nothing here is personalized financial advice.

13. One page, not ten. We would rather publish one thorough page than ten thin ones. We publish slowly and we do not generate pages at scale.

14. Nobody can buy a change. No company can pay to appear, to move up, to remove a criticism, or to be left out. Companies are welcome to send us corrections with evidence, and we treat those the same as a reader’s.
